Gorilla Drones provide demolition and construction companies with valuable imagery, to aid with site management, health and safety awareness/insights, progression reporting, marketing material generation, to name just a few use cases. We additionally have capabilities to fly within dilapidated buildings or where it may be dangerous to send in 'boots on the ground' to enable increased safety to your workforce.
We offer specialist imagery capture and processing, including time lapse, which is great for capturing a project from initiation to finished product, and we can capture video that can be used for slow motion footage, such as explosives on demolition sites.
Gorilla Drones' latest large project was to provide aerial and ground based assistance to the prime demolition company onsite for the Ironbridge Power Station cooling towers blowdown; this was to provide them with situational awareness for exclusion zone enforcement, technical filming for explosive charges being triggered and also marketing/promotional style video and photography for internal/external use.
Safety is our number one key aspect of any operation we carry out; we conduct full safety risk assessments and contact any stakeholders as necessary, as part of our planning phase.
We are constantly pushing the boundaries on how unmanned aircraft (aka Drones) can be used within different industries -- so if you have a potential use case and you're not sure if it is feasible or can be achieved, contact us as you're definitely a company we wish to partner with.
We are CAA approved for commercial operations, which is needed to operate a drone commercially and insured up to £10m liability. If you currently use a drone on sites, please ensure they are on CAP1361 as we are, prior to taking flight, as they will not be insured.
